Founder of Eticwood, Jerome Laporte is a bioengineer who graduated from Gembloux Agro Bio-Tech. He has been working for more than 15 years on the management of natural production forests in Africa, Asia, and South America, including certification, governance and traceability programs.
For the last few years, as the director of Eticwood, he initiated several agroforestry developments projects with the major FSC timber companies and international cash crop importers, to develop sustainable agroforestry productions on the outskirts of forest logging permits and national parks.

Julien Philippart has more than 15 years of experience in sustainable forest management and certification in the Congo Basin. In addition to his role as Director of forestry projects at Eticwood, he puts his interest in new technologies and database management at the service of the company in the design of mobile solutions and the development of new digital tools.
Julien holds an additional master degree in Water and Forestry from the University of
Gembloux.

Marie-Jo graduated from the Solvay Business School and gained more than 25 years of experience in Finance and Human Resources in different companies.
Her knowledge covers vanilla, pepper and essential oils sectors.
Forestry and agroforestry officer, Arthur is a bioengineer who graduated from Gembloux Agro- Bio-Tech. With 4 years of experience in sustainable tropical forestry and protected areas management, he previously worked for the FAO and was involved in CITES and FLEGT action plans in Madagascar, Central and West Africa. He also acts as the manager of Eticwood's office in Gabon.
Basile joined Eticwood in June 2021 to oversee and develop reforestation and forest restoration projects in Africa. He graduated from Gembloux Agro-Bio-Tech, he recently worked on an agroforestry and energy plantation project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is also specialized in the wood industry.

Uan is forest engineering, graduated from Vietnam forestry university and post graduated on mechanical wood technology and production management in Finland. Uan has worked in forestry sector in Vietnam for more than 30 years at government organization, foreign companies, international organization. He has captured deeply and vast experiences in sustainable forest management and FSC certification and chain of custody. Uan has actively involved in VPA/FLEGT process in Vietnam and Laos since 2010 up to now when worked at WWF Greater Mekong and FAO-EU FLEGT Programme. He is country focal point for the AFD- EU FLEGT project in Vietnam from Jan 2022.
