Eticwood is a balanced mix of experienced professionals and a young team of highly motivated engineers and technicians. This combination allows Eticwood to be agile and to adapt to any situation. Here are our amazing collaborators.

Founder of Eticwood, Jerome Laporte is a bioengineer who graduated from Gembloux Agro Bio Tech. He has been working for more than 15 years on the management of natural production forests in Africa, Asia, and South America, including certification, governance and traceability programmes. For the last few years, as the director of Eticwood, he initiated several agroforestry development projects with the major FSC timber companies and international cash crop importers, to develop sustainable agroforestry productions on the outskirts of forest logging permits and national parks.

Julien Philippart has more than 15 years of experience in sustainable forest management and certification in the Congo Basin. In addition to his role as Director of forestry projects at Eticwood, he puts his interest in new technologies and database management at the service of the company in the design of mobile solutions and the development of new digital tools.

Director of agroforestry projects, Hugues has 15 years of professional experience in agricultural production in Africa and in team management: cocoa and vanilla plantations, animal production and management of essential oil plantations. He graduated from the University of Gembloux Agro Bio Tech.

Forestry and communication officer, Lola is a bioengineer in forest and natural areas management from the University Catholic of Louvain. After completing her thesis in Senegal and discovering New Zealand in a van for a year, she joined Eticwood in January 2021.

Forestry and agroforestry officer, Arthur is a bioengineer who graduated from Gembloux Agro Bio Tech. With 4 years of experience in sustainable tropical forestry and protected area management, he previously worked for the FAO and was involved in CITES action plans in Madagascar, Central and West Africa. He also acts as the manager of Eticwood's office in Gabon.

Basile joined Eticwood in June 2021 to oversee and develop reforestation and forest restoration projects in Africa. Graduated from Gembloux Agro Bio Tech, he recently worked on an agroforestry and energy plantation project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and he is also specialized in the wood industry.
